How to Upload Badges to Twitch

Learn how to upload custom badges to your Twitch channel quickly and easily with our step-by-step tutorial.

Upload Badges to Twitch

Open up your Twitch Creator Dashboard
Expand ‘Monetization’ on the left side
Click on ‘Subscriptions’
Click on ‘Subscriber Badges‘
Use the dropdown under ‘Manage Badges’ to select which badge you want to change.
You can click the ‘Upload Image’ or drag and drop your badge files here.
Once all sizes have been added click ‘Upload Badge’

Note: We package our Emotes as a .zip file. You need to unzip the file prior to uploading them to Twitch. Otherwise, it will likely give the error message ‘Image file size is too large’.
Extract files from .ZIP
- Windows: Right click .zip file and select ‘Extract All…’ and select where to extract the files.
- Mac: Double click .zip file will extract the files to a new folder matching the zip files name.
